Guidelines for Conducting an EAGLES Meet PDF Print E-mail
1. All spectators over 5 years pay a $3.00 gate fee. With the exception of the State Meet, gate fee for State Meets will be $5.00 ages 5 and over.

2. All judges for girl's sessions are paid $75.00 per session

3. USAG Judges will be used for the all Meets whenever possible.

4. Follow USAG Rules and Policies to determine the number of gymnasts per session. If you have any questions about numbers contact Cheryl Baits.

5. Meet results should be mailed or faxed by the meet host to the level coordinators within a 5 days after the meet.

6. All girls compulsory gymnast need a 30.00 AA to qualify to the state meet. Compulsory level gymnasts can not qualify on individual events. All optional girls need a 32.00 AA or an 8.0 on an individual event to qualify for state.

7. At the beginning of each meet please make appropriate announcements concerning the non-use of flash cameras, etc. & please play the National Anthem or recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

8. Event awards should be handed to the gymnast right after they finish performing on that event. The All-Around ribbons should be awarded in ceremony at the end of the meet.

Awards System

Compulsory Girl's Levels 3-5

Event Awards

9.00+   Blue Ribbon
8.00 to 8.975   Red Ribbon
7.50 to 7.975   White Ribbon
7.475 and below Yellow Ribbon

Optional Girls receive ribbons by placement. Meet host should consider awarding event awards to at least 5 places or a minimum of half the number of gymnasts at each level; which ever is greater, and All-Around awards to as many places as possible. This is just a strong suggestion; remember the league's purpose and philosophy, it is why we are in this league.

Helpful Hints for Hosting an EAGLES Meet

8 weeks prior to your meet  Send out basic information like what you are offering Girls, concessions stand, type of awards, type of equipment, entry fee, date when deposit, entry forms and final payment are due.

6 weeks prior to your meet  Make deposit and entry forms due, to allow yourself enough time to create meet schedule, order awards, prepare goodie bags. Consider if you have a late entry policy such as late fees and last chance date one week prior to meet, etc.

4 weeks prior to your meet Send out final information such as session times, rotation schedules (along with team break downs so clubs attending can determine the number of coaches they may need to bring if their team is split), etc.

2 weeks prior to your meet Make final entry fee payments due.
